Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. ripgrep.dev does not use any analytics, tracking scripts, advertising SDKs, or user-profiling tools. There are no accounts, no login forms, and no contact forms that store your input.

Cookies

ripgrep.dev sets no cookies of its own. Your browser will not receive any first-party cookies when visiting this site.

Cloudflare

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered via Cloudflare's global CDN. Cloudflare processes HTTP requests to serve the site and may log standard server-side information (IP address, browser, requested URL) for security and performance purposes. This data is processed by Cloudflare under their own Privacy Policy. We do not have access to Cloudflare's raw access logs.

Future Analytics

We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (such as Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager, or a privacy-first alternative). If and when this happens, this policy will be updated before any tracking is activated.

ripgrep.dev contains links to external websites (GitHub, package manager sites, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

Children's Privacy

ripgrep.dev is a developer tool documentation site. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. No mechanism exists on this site to collect such data.
